Huanchaco Peru
By John Rabe of MacroFindDotCom
Huanchaco is a little fishing village in the north of Peru that is slowly becoming a backpacker's haven, a surfer's paradise and just generally a place to go to recharge your batteries. It is said that Huanchaco is the place where surfing originated. The locals have been using a reed boat which they ride standing on their knees for centuries, and you can still watch them do it today. Watching the sun set over Huanchaco bay, while sipping a glass of red wine at Otra Cosa is something that you will remember for many years to come. I will write more about Huanchaco in the times to come. There is so much to tell.
